Pennsylvania mail carrier charged with 3 indecent assaults found dead A U.S. Postal Service mail carrier from Coplay, charged last week with three indecent assaults, was found dead in his home Thursday night, according to the Lehigh County coroner.

Robert Joseph Wechsler, 60, was pronounced dead at 6:30 p.m. at his home in the 200 block of Maple Street.

An autopsy is scheduled for Friday to determine the cause and manner of death, the coroner’s office said. The Coplay Police Department is investigating the death.

Wechsler was charged May 20 with three counts of indecent assault, but had not been arraigned yet in the case.
