Video: Postal Worker Shot Trying to Stop Carjacking Gunman in Bronx

A postal worker was shot and injured as he tried to stop a gunman wearing a bulletproof vest from carjacking an off-duty coworker, police say.

The gunman was trying to steal a Honda from an off-duty postal worker Tuesday afternoon when the second postal worker intervened and was grazed in the arm by a bullet fired by the suspect, according to police.

  1. I was given a PDI for helping a young teenager from being beating by a group of teens, supervisor told me I should not have gotten envolved I said what if that was your son, she looked at me and tore the PDI up. I hope they don’t try to fire him.
