Mail carrier robbed at gunpoint in Tukwila, WA – $50,000 reward offered

robberyUKWILA, Wash. — A mail carrier was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday afternoon outside an apartment building in Tukwila, according to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

The robbery took place around 12:30 p.m. at 5715 S. 152nd Pl. According to the Inspection Service, the letter carrier was not hurt, but the gunman got away with the mail.

The robber is described as an Asian man in his early 20s, approximately 5-feet-5-inches tall with a medium build and no facial hair. He was wearing a black stocking cap, blue sweatshirt, dark athletic pants and black athletic shoes.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the robber.
