A United States Postal Service employee has resigned after someone said they spotted him throwing a pile of mail in a dumpster in San Jose.
Gus Ruiz, a spokesman for the USPS San Jose area, said the employee was new on the job and wanted to lighten his load.
“It’s an anomaly,” Ruiz said.
USPS employees have been retracing the route of a new hire and searching dumpsters after he was seen lightening his load by tossing envelops in the trash outside a business along Lincoln Avenue, in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood.

Welp. That explains why we haven’t been getting mail at our office for a few days.
I guess losing over $85 Billion Dollars since 2009 is another anomaly, right Ruiz……what a bunch of bureaucratic clowns!
Anomaly ? New employee that sounds possible. Postal Service doesn’t know why a person would do that ? That sounds like anomaly. The right questions are till not being asked. Of course an adult should not have handled the situation in this manner he or she hurted more than themselves, but that’s another issue.
