MINNEAPOLIS – A handful of post office locations in the northwest suburbs were swarmed by authorities Friday morning after they received bomb threat letters.

Postal Inspection investigators and local authorities swept Post Office locations in Robbinsdale, Elk River, Anoka, Coon Rapids and Brooklyn Center and cleared all the locations.

Postal Inspect JD Long says no explosives were found and postal operations have returned to normal.
