Two people were taken to hospital following a Friday afternoon accident on Chesnee Highway that led to an overturned mail truck.

Details of the accident weren’t immediately available but reports said a pickup truck and the mail truck were involved in a collision near the Old Metal Road intersection. The accident occurred shortly before 4 p.m. with the drivers of both vehicles transported by ambulance.
