SPOKANE, Wash. Local postal workers said they are pleased that authorities arrested a Spokane man accused of sending a deadly poison, ricin, in the mail.
Authorities arrested Matthew Ryan Buquet, 37, on Wednesday. He was immediately charged with one count of mailing a threatening communication.
Court documents alleged that the Brownes Addition man sent ricin laced letters to a Spokane post office and a federal judge. The letters were intercepted by the Postal Service, and no one was injured.
