One person has been killed and another was seriously hurt after an explosion at a Wilson County home.

Law enforcement sources tell Channel 4 News a package in a mailbox exploded outside a home in the 500 block of Vance Lane, near Hartsville Pike, in Lebanon.

The Wilson County Emergency Management Agency and Wilson County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene.

A fire was also reported at the home.
