12/30/20 Hundreds of packages were stolen from the Aguanga post office just days before Christmas, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said.
The theft of between 300 to 400 packages in the rural southwest community was reported about 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 23 and was believed to have occurred sometime after the evening of the 22nd, said Sgt. Deanna Pecoraro, a sheriff’s spokeswoman.
No information on any suspects was available, Pecoraro said Wednesday.
This incident is one of the latest in a long line of mail thefts nationwide that has frustrated customers and at times has resulted in charges against Postal Service employees themselves.
Here in Michigan, I had a Postal customer give every Postal employee a gift over the
counter for each one. I was asked by this customer if i received my gift. I told no, but
thank him just the same. Here your coworkers will even steal from their coworkers
without no accountability.
