MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) — A mail carrier is recovering at the hospital after she was attacked by two dogs while delivering mail, Tuesday.

Mail carrier Emogene Powell could only cry out in pain until a Good Samaritan used a stick to help end the attack by two American Bulldogs.

Powell, 55, had just opened the gate to the home located on the 1400 block of 191st Street, when police said the dogs at the home next door jumped the gate and attacked her.
