26-year veteran has customer service, operations experience
PMG Pat Donahoe has announced the appointment of Joshua D. Colin as Eastern Area VP.

Joshua D. Colin
The 26-year postal veteran with extensive customer service experience has been serving as acting AVP since last November. Prior to this assignment, Colin was the Eastern Area’s Operations Support manager.
Donahoe noted that Colin successfully led the Area through major weather issues over the past year, both in his role as acting AVP and in Operations Support. “Josh displayed tremendous leadership skills during the Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts in southern New Jersey, as well as the storm-related challenges that affected four Appalachian processing facilities in June 2012,” said Donahoe. He also noted that the Area has completed nine mail processing consolidations during Colin’s tenure — all while maintaining record levels of service performance.
Colin is a former manager of the South Jersey, Columbus, OH; and Erie, PA, districts and is a former Columbus Postmaster.
Colin, who has a doctorate in business administration from Trident University International, also has master’s degrees in human resources management and public administration from Wilmington University. He is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, as well as a graduate of the Advanced Leadership Program and the Processing and Distribution Management Program.

I have left mail in the box for pick up and they deliver and DON’T PICK IT UP. I mail items and it is not scan into the system for days or delivered not scanned. The 1-800 ask if I shop at Walmart and have trouble, she way tiring to compare the United State Post Office with Walmart. I have never had customer service of any company do that.
