Former Missouri postal worker gets probation for threatening postal supervisorST. LOUIS • A man from St. Peters was sentenced Wednesday in federal court here to three years of probation for intimidating a former supervisor at the St. Charles post office.

Alan R. Jung, 44, was terminated from the St. Charles post office in the summer of 2013 after not showing up to work. Jung didn’t show up because he believed people at work were poisoning him through his salt shaker, charging documents claim.

Three months later, on Oct. 2, 2013, Jung approached a former supervisor while she was eating lunch at a fast food restaurant and asked about a colleague that he blamed for the poisoning. Jung screamed that he would “get” the supervisor and “all of them,” and then elaborated that he was going to “come to the post office and kill all of them,” court documents claim.

A search of his apartment in St. Peters turned up several rifles, pistols and gun parts.

  1. I’m viticm also threaten by management. I didn’t take it in the military I be dam if I’m gonna take it from liars in the postal service as if it didn’t happen. Their favorite words are the threat was not creditable. Now who in the hell does that make sense to.

  2. Alan Jung was and is not crazy. The whole postal system however Is. He got injured on the job and they messed and messed with him. That’s what they do. They are the crazy ones! Keep your head up proud Alan. They can bend us but not break us. Diane

  3. Well if that’s news what about a Post Master man handling employees? Intimidation is another tactic she uses besides hiding in the Inspectors vestibule watching everyone behind the one way mirrors. You won’t see that story in any news paper!! And when I say “man handling” I mean physically grabbing, pushing or shoving employees. Did I say the PM is 6’8″ and close to 400 lbs?
