LIBERTY COUNTY, Texas – Thieves are taking mail from outside Liberty County post offices. Now the sheriff’s office says residents are complaining about their bank and credit card information being stolen.

The sheriff’s office issued a notice Friday. They say someone broke into the outside mailboxes at the post office in Hardin and Daisetta. In the past three weeks, they have received more than 100 reports of identity theft.
