Chrissy Wilson-Mueller
KIRKWOOD, MO • The Kirkwood postal worker who was hit by a car on Dec. 30 has died.
Kirkwood Police Detective David Smith said Monday that the case is considered an accident and that no criminal charges were considered against the driver, a 79-year-old woman. Smith said Wilson-Mueller was struck by the southbound vehicle in the middle of the road in the 300 block of South Taylor. Friends of Wilson-Mueller say she had been wearing her post office jacket and blue pants, and left work in the dark.
Dozens of postal workers at the office on Taylor park on the street because there is no lot designated for them. Some complain that they’ve come out of work before to find their cars have been sideswiped during work hours by the traffic along Taylor. Read more
I am sorry for the lady and regret her death but the article says she was in the “middle of the road”. Watch where you are going. As for private parking lots. Do you have a private garage for your guests? In the midst of tragedy, no one wants to man up and see the facts. It is tragic for Wilson-Mueller and family but don’t blame the post office for everything. it gets dark here at 1730 in the dead of winter, would anyone here say that is late?
God bless this lady and give her family strength.
Dumber than Dirt ~`Many alternatives like cabs, bike, drop off/pick up. You can quit and find another job. That “poor me” whine is old!
oh how our post office looks after its wage slave employees. do the postal mismanagers park on the street? do they have their own private lot at the office? you bet these scum do!
