March 16, 2015 – CORALVILLE (KWWL) – No one was injured after a U.S. Postal Service truck caught fire.
It happened on 12th St. in Coralville, several blocks from the Coral Ridge Mall. Crews were called to the scene Monday afternoon.
Traffic was blocked briefly as the fire was extinguished. The road is now back open.
The mail carrier escaped without injury, according a Coralville fire department official. He also believed the mail inside the truck was not damaged
