July 13, 2015 – Piles of what looked like trash was found strewn along the southbound lanes of Interstate 85 near the interchange late this morning.

Upon closer inspection the papers included several U.S. Postal Service signature confirmation forms, insured mail receipts, change of address forms and shopping inserts from Prattville residents.

The Prattville Post Office employee said the papers came from the recycle paper bins available in their lobby. The papers were being transported this morning, but the door on the post office truck was not closed properly and the papers were accidentally released.
