July 15, 2015 – College Station – Texas – Police are still looking into what caused the driver of a U.S. mail truck to start swerving erratically Wednesday afternoon before the truck turned over on Texas 6 into a ditch.
The vehicle rolled several times before coming to rest facing south and just off the roadway.
The driver, who was not named in a statement from police, was taken by ambulance to the College Station Medical Center for treatment of non-incapacitating injuries.
Police were working at 1 p.m. to collect mail that had spilled on to the road and remove the truck — the only vehicle involved in the incident.
