November 4, 2015 SCRANTON, PA – When you mail a letter or a card, you expect it to arrive at its destination without any trouble. For some people in Scranton, that hasn’t been the case.
A postal service employee who was charged last month with stealing cash right out of greeting cards pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court.
Bruce Kizer of Taylor became a mail carrier in October 2013. He resigned from his job after investigators discovered that last year he was taking cash right from the cards that he was supposed to be delivering.
