SANTA FE (KRQE) – A Santa Fe woman says a United States Postal Service worker drove right through her yard, parallel to her marked driveway, on Sunday causing damage.
“I have a perfectly fine driveway here to drive on, why would you drive down my yard?” Jennifer Browne, who lives in the Eldorado neighborhood, said.
She can’t understand why it happened.“I mean yes, it’s inappropriate, but mostly it’s just unnecessary,” she said.
It happened on Sunday around 3:50 p.m. Browne knows that because her tracking number told her what time her Amazon package was dropped off.

Two things.
One, she apparently assumes it was USPS based only on delivery time of her package. Could possibly have been someone else. She didn’t actually witness this happening.
Two, the tracks in her “well manicured” yard indicate it was a vehicle with axels of equal width. If this carrier was driving an LLV, there’s proof it wasn’t the USPS who did this as an LLV has axels that leave two sets of tracks. Obviously, if Carrier has a different vehicle then this point is meaningless.
I am quite curious if we will get a follow up story about this after all the bashing of the carrier. Seems like someone is jumping to some rather rash concllusions and of course running to the hyperbolic media about it.
