USPS Labor update: Contract covering IT employees extended
4/28/16 The Postal Service and the American Postal Workers Union (APWU) have reached a one-year extension of a contract covering approximately 1,150 Information Technology and Accounting Services bargaining-unit employees.
The employees work in USPS data centers in St. Louis; Eagan, MN; San Mateo, CA; and Wilkes-Barre, PA.
Terms of the agreement include general wage increases and a continuation of existing provisions in the 2011-2016 contract.
The extension will expire Jan. 20, 2017. USPS announced the extension last week.
