WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Shortly before 12:30 on Wednesday, reports of a postal worker being over come by the heat were reported.

911 dispatchers said the worker was near Stadium and Lorraine in northeast Wichita when the heat hit.

They said the 28-year-old man was taken to the hospital by EMS in potentially serious condition.

A caller told dispatchers that witnesses saw the man passing out. They also said the postal worker did not have his hat on.
