Hispanic Postal Exec accuses USPS of harassment, hostile work environment

HOUSTON — A Houston Hispanic woman is suing the U.S. postmaster general, alleging harassment, hostile work environment and retaliation.

Victoria Davila filed a lawsuit Oct. 18 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against U.S. Postmaster General Megan Brennan, alleging violation of Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

According to the complaint, Davila, a senior sales executive, suffered damages, including denial of promotion, lost pay and benefits and monetary damages of $300,000 for severe mental and emotional distress while working for the U.S. Postal Service. Read more

    Why is it a Hispanic woman? Is this supposed to be race related? Would it say white woman if she was white? Are we sure she isn’t a Hispanic transsexual? I think somebody should look so we know, after all that is what is important in this case.
