Building dangers cause post office to close
ROCKFIELD, Ind. (WLFI) – A Carroll County community will be without a post office because the building poses a danger to the public.
The Rockfield post office, about seven miles northeast of Delphi, closed for good May 31. The United States Postal Service (USPS) leased the space from the property owner.
According to a letter sent to residents, the landlord feels that the building poses a risk to employees and the public.
