12/5/17 GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia police detectives are teaming up with federal postal inspectors after thieves broke into a local post office over the weekend and stole $20,000 in cash.
Gastonia Police said sometime around Friday night into Saturday morning, someone broke into the post office on South New Hope Road, stealing three bags of cash and causing $200 worth of damage.
Investigators have no suspects yet.
