PRC Evaluates USPS 2017 Performance and 2018 Performance Plan

Report Finds Goals Not Met or Only Partially Met in FY 2017

4/26/2018 Washington, DC – Today the Postal Regulatory Commission (Commission) issued its analysis of the United States Postal Service (Postal Service) fiscal year (FY) 2017 Annual Performance Report and FY 2018 Performance Plan. Each year, the Commission must review the Postal Service’s performance goals, evaluate whether the Postal Service met those goals in the previous fiscal year, and offer recommendations regarding the protection or promotion of public policy objectives. The Commission’s review finds that, for the first time, the Postal Service’s FY 2018 Plan complies with legal requirements, and the FY 2017 Report meets most of the requirements.

  1. Yes the Postal Service is filled with lots of dummies. When the Postal employees that support President Dump are screwed over they can thank themselves. Just look at the six times he filed for bankruptcy. The businessmen and their employees were cheated out of their pay. However, as long as it doesn’t happen to you, who cares. If and when the Postal Service goes under your hero will see that you prosper. And if not too bad! Then you can file for bankruptcy just like Mr. Fabulous.

  2. crying about prefunding when the have defaulted on it since 2009……is like complaining about the price of American Airline tickets when you never fly…………….postal service is filled with low IQ dummies!

  3. Tale of The Tape………..this audit that Trump has authorized is going to knock the Postal Circus on its arse! GIVE ME A BUYOUT PRESIDENT TRUMP and I will be on my way. I hate being on a losing team!

  4. So the prefunding is a lie? Anyone that supports President dump knows all about lies. So President supporters think it’s ok to insist that the Postal Service must prefund health care costs, while every other employer doesn’t. Maybe it would be better if the Postal service went under and the Presidents supporters could find another job. I’m quite sure you can find a very high paying job maybe in a coal mine, or factory. If you can’t find another place of employment, tough! Fend for yourself.

    • You are referring to President Obama aren’t you? Prefunding began way before Trump. Your buddy Barack also green lighted five day delivery. The USPS is going to make the incompetents at the FBI look like pikers.

      • Pre-Funding legislation occurred in 2006 under the George Bush Administration. It was a way to rob the Postal Service (which receives no tax payer money) but who was making money until 2008 when the economy collapsed. NO other government agency or private enterprise is required to pre-fund retiree healthcare benefits.

  5. To solve these problems, Trump must immediately fire Brennan and appoint Comey to the job of PMG. Transfer Strok and Page to be district managers, followed by the appointment of Lorreta Lynch and Hillary Clinton as BOG members. All Clinton Global Initiative millions will be thus transferred to the USPS and the deficit will be gone. The federal government incest will continue unabated.

    • He can’t fire Muffin Megan, only the BOG can do that. Anyone would be better than Muffin Megan.

  6. Postal management has earned the right to gorge themselves with their reward of coffee and donuts. Bonuses will soon follow. And carriers will be given new scanners to reward them for their hard work.

  7. how did you like me stiffing IOD Muffin Meghen Brennen and inviting radio host Michael Savage to the French President’s lunch at the Vice President Pence’s residence……I don’t like losers who are losing Billions and Billions of dollars with no end in site. 130 Billion since 2007……and that prefunding lie has nothing to do with it….they have been in default since 2009 and have not paid one thin dime towards it…..so it is bald face lie put out there by scummy liars! I like people who make money and don’t give out PFP bonus money when they have lost Billions and are to stupid to stop the flow of red ink.

  8. Why are the toolbags getting pay for performance money
when they did not perform. Fire them all. Immoral, lying,
    cheating, unethical toolbags.

  9. Not to worry; the bonuses will continue ! Postal mgmt is infested with narcissistic sociopaths who continue to lie, cheat, and steal.
