Yesterday, the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform held a hearing titled “A Path Forward on Postal Reform.” The hearing helped to confirm the core problems facing the Postal Service and the most appropriate solutions for inclusion in a comprehensive postal reform measure.

We commend Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) and Ranking Member Elijah Cummings (D-MD) for their continued commitment to work together to arrive at a bipartisan, comprehensive postal agreement. NAPS will continue to encourage the Congress to achieve the necessary reforms to assure that the Postal Service becomes financially stable and remains relevant to the needs of America.
