01/01/2020 The Family of a U.S. postal worker and Navy veteran has agreed with Portland State University on a $1 million settlement. Jason Washington, was shot and killed by campus police back in 2018.
The Oregonian reports as part of the settlement, some of the money will go to create a memorial scholarship fund in Washington’s name.

Cops kill postal worker who was trying to break up fight
1 million dollars??? That’s all his life was worth?? Who was their lawyer…they need to lose their ability to practice law.
Note to self: don’t break up fights, call 911 and leave it to the authorities.
