WASHINGTON – The Governors of the United States Postal Service are conducting a thorough, nationwide search for a successor to Postmaster General Megan J. Brennan, who announced her intent to retire effective Jan. 31, 2020. To facilitate the search and transition process, the Postmaster General has agreed to delay her retirement date. The Chairman of the Board of Governors, Robert M. “Mike” Duncan said, “We are grateful to the Postmaster General for her continued commitment to the Postal Service, and share her confidence in the Postal Service’s strong leadership team members who will ensure that we continue to deliver for the American people.”
“Carvin” Marvin Runyon warned us more than 25 years ago when he assumed PMG duties, that once the internet hit critical mass, this place was toast.
The plan to privatize the Postal service started in 2006 when the postal service was forced to pay in advance health care costs. Why is it that the Postal service, and only the postal service in the whole nation, must be stuck with this unnecessary cost? It was done on design. The plan is to destroy the postal service and let a business take over and pay the employees slave wages with zero retirement and health care. The Postal employees that voted for Das Fuhrer will love it when they are cut to three days a week with reduced benefits and pay. Remember it’s what they asked for!
No one can hurt USPS like the self inflected wounds from with in.
I feel for the good workers efforts every day. Long story cut short.
Bring Bozo the clown out of retirement. He couldn’t be any
worse than the toolbags that are in charge now. Word is he doesn’t
like donuts so there’s a cost saving measure to start. Time is
running out. Trump is lurking. The system is broke. Offer an
early out with cash and years and thousands will flee. Save billions
and maybe the PO.
Wow, you are clearly a business genius. I’m sure your solution would solve all postal issues. Thank you, old wise one.
