California: USPS truck caught in sinkhole

Yesterday, patrol was dispatched to the report of a mailman who drove his US Postal truck into a sinkhole
where the road gave way at the dead end of Olive, just past the Homestead Motel. The sinkhole was approximately 6 feet wide and 5 feet deep and the result of the heavy rain. The Streets crew responded quickly to manage the repair and luckily the driver was not injured
