Actor Steve Carell appeared on Kelly and Michael and said:

Christmas Eve Eve is a rough time of year for the people who deliver our packages. That’s a job that Carell used to have. Once upon a time, he was a rural mail carrier in Massachusetts, where he had to drive his own car. It was dangerous to slouch across his bench seat to try to put mail out his passenger window.

That job lasted only four months, before he relocated to Chicago. “And months later, I found mail under the seat of my car,” he said. Carell called it the hardest job of his life.
