Uniting for success – A-PLUS celebrates 27th year

A-PLUS National President and Strategic Account Manager Deborah Ector presents Corporate Communications VP Bill Whitman with a “Stamp of approval” pin for his support of the organization.
The African-American Postal League United for Success (A-PLUS) recently celebrated 27 years of helping employees advance their postal careers through training, development, networking and mentoring.
The theme of the organization’s 27th Annual National Convention held in Detroit, MI, was “Honoring the Past, Treasuring the Present, Transforming the Future.”
Corporate Communications VP Bill Whitman says A-PLUS plays an invaluable role in the postal system. “You help our African-American colleagues and many other postal employees build their leadership skills, which helps them to move forward in their postal careers,” said Whitman during the event. “This fosters diversity, which inspires innovation, which leads to success. These are the things that every organization needs to thrive.”
A-PLUS, a non-profit postal association, was organized in 1987 to mentor and develop African-American and other postal managers.
Intereted in connecting with any A-PLUS chapter in the northern New Jersey area.
