07/21/2014 – Delegates to the APWU National Convention are ready for action after several days of pre-convention workshops and conferences.
Monday, July 21, will feature a State of Our Union address by President Mark Dimondstein, speeches by severalĀ members of Congress, and messages of solidarity by postal union presidents from the U.S. and abroad.
Plans are in full swing for a Stop Staples protest on Tuesday, July 22, in the Chicago Loop at 111 N. Wabash.
Its all about a week away from the old lady, plenty of booze, plenty of hos, plenty of laughter, plenty of booze, plenty of food…all on the membership’s dime! Anybody thinks its not is out of their mind or hasn’t been around long enuf!
Comrade,
I’m not there with the Oakland members in person, in spirit please step up to the plate as usual and show america who we are and what we stand for.
Not going to take any more. PMG. Donahoe must go.
I love APWU to fight against USPS and Staples. Keep up with good work. Thanks.
WooHoo…yeeeeeha! Where’s the Hospitality room at this year? Best place for no cost, long flowing (dues paid for) booze. Let the pin trading commence! Party hardy y’all. Glad my local union is picking up the tab for those suites!
