APWU: No Email-Addresses Will Be Released To Any Candidate

Please be advised that a court has ordered the American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO to make available e-mail addresses of members that are on file with the American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO for use in the 2013 Election of National Officers.

Your e-mail address will not be released to any candidate. It will be kept confidential. A list of e-mail addresses including your e-mail address is being handled by an outside company which will transmit candidates’ e-mails to you.

When you receive a candidate e-mail you will have the option to unsubscribe from the e-mail list being used for this purpose. If you unsubscribe, no further e-mails from candidates will be sent to you regardless of the sender.

  1. I would prefer my e-mail addrss to be releases to ALL candidates for elected office! then maybe they would have an equal chance that the decision by the court tried to make!
