09/15/2014 – With contract negotiations set to begin early next year, APWU President Mark Dimondstein has announced the names of union members who will serve on the Rank and File Bargaining Advisory Committee. In accordance with the APWU Constitution, each member of the National Executive Board names one person to the committee; a 13th member, appointed by the president, is a member of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Task Force.
The Rank-and-File Bargaining Advisory Committee provides input to the union’s National Negotiating Team, which has full authority to negotiate the terms of a new collective bargaining agreement. The committee must approve any tentative agreement before it can be sent to APWU members for a ratification vote.
Contract negotiations are set to begin in February, 90 days before the current Collective Bargaining Agreement expires on May 20, 2015.

And, sure as a bear s**ts in the woods, all these people voted for Diamonstein! Wonder if the MVS Craft will finally be given that death blow Diamonstein started when he organized private HCR contractors under the same APWU that was “representing” the MVS? We will never forget!
Last contract it was all given away, it/they are called 2nd tier employees.
So where do we go from here my brothers keeper?
3rd tier employees = Less….
A push to get rid of the CSRS and FERs employees with time in to retire? It is only their chooses, they earned it and laws protect it. So to you who wish to insert them selfs in telling others what to do, do unto others as you would do to yourself and mind your own store.
Hey,
Joe B why dont you just retire if you think everything
will be given away.
“The committee must approve any tentative agreement before it can be sent to APWU members for a ratification vote.”
I’d be better off in a ISIS video then with a APWU members ratification vote. The last one worked out just GREAT! YEA LETS DO IT AGAIN!
I’m still laughing! Let’s all go ???? Our selfs!
Haha, I think your right Nasty Nancy, all of the above will be given up and we will be given the boot!
Sooooo….what are we giving up this contract?
Layoff, Benefits, raises, more PSE % workers?
All the above…..
