Postal Service calling on retired employees to help during holiday season

Officials with the United States Postal Service announced this week that retired city carriers can temporarily return to their jobs during the peak-mailing season. According to the USPS, retired employees can sign up for Holiday Term City Carrier Assistant positions beginning Dec. 6. Their positions will be for a four-week period ending Jan. 2.
