“Clerks Care Program” encourages employees to seek new opportunities, leads for USPS

Clerks Care, a new lead generation program that encourages all clerk craft employees to identify and submit leads to help grow revenue and build new business opportunities for USPS, is underway.

“In today’s competitive marketplace, we’re always looking for ways to expand our market share and increase revenue by identifying new businesses that fit our shipping and mailing profile,” said Sales VP Cliff Rucker. “This program will help our employees identify new potential customers and additional business opportunities for the Postal Service.”

Clerks Care leads can be submitted by providing the information to a lead clerk or supervisor to input into Submit a Lead using the Blue page — or clerk craft employees can enter their leads directly in Submit a Lead through LiteBlue. The leads can be submitted from opportunities identified through personal knowledge or work-related interaction with customers. The program is voluntary and requires minimum activity.

For more information, visit the Clerks Care Welcome page or contact your supervisor.

Employees with questions about the program should contact their local marketing department or send an email with their area and district names and Clerks Care in the subject line to clerkscare@usps.gov.

  1. Private businesses offer “Bird-Dog” $ Awards $ to their employees that provide valid leads to their company that provide increased revenues. The
Bird-Dog fee awarded to the employee providing the “Lead” are paid
out of the increased revenue received…so the award $ to the employee
cost the employees business “Nothing”…. It’s great for both the employee and their company. Reward your employee that provides a lead
that increases revenue. Money talks and you know what!!…walks. Try
a pilot program and watch the revenue grow and the word will travel quickly through the rank and file.
