ANDREWS, S.C. (WCIV) — Family members of the Williamsburg County postal worker killed along her route say they want the killer to come forward.
“The family’s devastated. The whole community’s devastated,” said Terrell Lewis, nephew of Irene Pressley. “I want the truth to come to the light. I want justice to be served. I want whoever did this to be caught, they need to come forward.”
Federal officials confirmed in a press conference Friday they have no new information in the case. They say 70 agents from multiple law enforcement agencies are looking for Pressley’s killer, including agents from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
“We’re bringing the full force of law enforcement at all levels to bear in this massive investigation,” said David McGinnis, Inspector in Charge from the Charlotte Division of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. “We’re appealing to the public for any information regarding this crime, anyone who may have seen anything or been in the Morrisville area at the time of the crime.” Read more at ABC News 4
