Funeral Service Held for Texas Postal Worker Killed in Fishing Accident
1/5/2015 CORPUS CHRISTI – Funeral services were held this morning for 32-year-old Juan Martinez who drowned while fishing at the Laguna Madre.
Martinez was a postal worker and his co-workers paid him tribute this morning. An honor guard of postal trucks escorted the body from Our Lady of Pilar Catholic Church to Rose Hill Cemetery where he was laid to rest.
T-shirts bearing an image of Martinez were placed on the trucks when they arrived at the cemetery.
