One person was hurt Friday about noon in a head-on collision involving a United States Postal Service vehicle.
A gray Ford F-250 struck a mail truck on Pirelli Drive in the Floyd County Industrial Park. The mail carrier was pinned under the mail truck, according to police scanner traffic.
While the front of the F-250 was smashed in, the USPS truck was flipped on its side and mail was thrown out of the vehicle on the ground.
