A developer has bought the Old U.S. Post Office in downtown Miami for $11 million.
Daniel Pena-Giraldi of Stambul Ventures plans to renovate the former post office at 100 NE First Ave. He bought the property from a joint venture formed by Scott Robins and Tom Morgan in a deal that closed Wednesday.
Details about future uses for the building were not available Thursday; the deal included an adjacent 15,000-square-foot lot.
The American Institute of Architects’ Miami Center for Architecture and Design occupies about 5,500 square feet in the 34,455-square-foot building.
