“Irate” Boynton post office customer throws box at worker, police say

A U.S. Post Office customer threw a box at a postal worker on Saturday, according to Boynton Beach Police.

The incident happened at the U.S. Post Office at 1530 W. Boynton Beach Boulevard.

Police responded to what was described as an “irate customer committing a battery on a postal employee.”

The customer became upset around noon and threw a 1 pound box at the worker, police said.

Police did not say what caused the customer to become irate.
