Kentucky Postal Worker Arrested for Terroristic Threatening, Mail Theft, Menacing

GREENVILLE, Ky. (9/16/14) ― A U.S. Postal Service employee from Greenville has been arrested for menacing, theft of mail matter and terroristic threatening.

According to a Greenville Police report, the postal employee made threats about killing several people including the judge and local police officers while he was delivering mail to a local business. Police said Zachary D. Lindsey, 33, Greenville, had interactions with law enforcement and the judicial system.

After a joint GPD and U.S. Postal Inspectors investigation, Lindsey was charged with third-degree terroristic threatening, menacing and theft of mail matter (a Class D Felony). The report said several items of stolen mail were recovered from his vehicle and residence.

He is being lodged in the Muhlenberg Detention Center.
