A former Pike County postal worker has pleaded guilty to charges of misappropriation of postal funds and selling or distributing oxycodone.
According to court documents, on Tuesday, Sherry Jo Justice, 52, of Pikeville, pleaded guilty to the charges, and faces a maximum prison sentence of 10 years on the postal funds charge and a maximum sentence of 20 years on the oxycodone charge upon sentencing, set for Aug. 13.

Sherry Jo Justice, a former Kentucky window clerk, pleaded guilty to taking nearly $7,000 in cash from 13 nightly deposits for the Pikeville Main Street Post Office, between Sept. 28, 2012, and Oct. 30, 2013. The amounts ranged from $80 to $2,500. Justice also issued herself a $332.12 money order, another for $84.75, and a third for $50 on Aug. 12. In addition, Justice distributed morphine pills on Oct. 9 and oxycodone pills on Oct. 11.
