A mailman from Westmoreland County caught embezzling thousands of dollars from his union two years ago pleaded guilty Tuesday, this time to stealing cash from the mail.
Frank Rysz, 49, of Mount Pleasant, had been indicted in February after U.S. postal inspectors said he stole cash from three letters as well as a department store advertisement from one
Rysz pleaded guilty in November 2012 to stealing $12,514.19 from the Letter Carriers, National Association, AFL-CIO, Branch 1124, when he was the local’s secretary-treasurer between 2007 and 2010. He was sentenced to three years of probation with the first five months on home detention, and ordered to pay restitution.
