Rysz pleaded guilty in November 2012 to stealing $12,514.19 from the Letter Carriers, National Association, AFL-CIO, Branch 1124, when he was the local’s secretary-treasurer between 2007 and 2010. He was sentenced to three years of probation with the first five months on home detention, and ordered to pay restitution.
