LITTLE ROCK, AR—In the aftermath of Sunday’s tornadoes, mail service continues uninterrupted for postal customers served out of the Vilonia, Mayflower, El Paso and Roland AR Post Offices.
In response to changing mail service needs, the U.S. Postal Service has established mail pick-up service for those who lost their homes or couldn’t return to their homes or businesses in the aftermath of Sunday’s storms, said Arkansas District Manager David Camp.
“At a time when Arkansas residents are pressed with the challenges of rebuilding their lives and properties, we want to ensure that their mail service continues uninterrupted,” said Camp “Since the start of our business day on Monday and continuing for the next 30 days, those displaced from their homes or businesses can call for their mail at these post offices:”

“Letter carriers will sort mail as they normally do and take it to the street for delivery,” says Camp. “Mail for those areas that are inaccessible due to clean up efforts or where homes or businesses no longer exist will be noted and letter carriers will bring the mail back to the Post Office where it will be staged for customers to pick it up. Proper ID will be required for customers who are accommodated with pick-up service.”
“In the very near future,” says Camp, “we will have additional post office boxes available for rent. Short term and long-term, our aim is to be a good neighbor and help our community in its time of greatest need.”
