Mail truck and minivan collide spreading mail across a Duluth, MN roadway

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) – A collision between a minivan and a mail truck left hundreds of letters littered across the road Thursday morning.

Duluth Police say a United States Postal van, driven by a 63-year-old man, rolled through a stop sign at East 1st Street and North 19th Avenue East.

A minivan driven by a 29-year-old woman, heading toward downtown, collided with USPS van, causing the mail truck to roll on to its side.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police cited the USPS driver for failing to stop at the stop sign.
