There will be a new management company at the Bolger Center conference facility in Montgomery County come Jan. 1: Philadelphia-based hospitality contractor Aramark.
We reported Monday on a layoff noticed filed in Maryland for employees at the Bolger Center, the U.S. Postal Service-owned conference center in Potomac, and this new contract seems to be the culprit. Aramark was awarded the contract to manage the center on Oct. 15; the current manager, Dolce International, filed the notice of layoffs Oct. 22.
Aramark’s contract to manage the Bolger Center takes effect Jan. 1. Dolce International had managed the property since the USPS first opened it up to public use in 2004.
