Ohio postal employee pleads guilty to spending time at home during working hours

scottleslein2014Postal employee Scott D. Leslein pleaded guilty to theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, on May 15, after an investigation determined he was spending time at home during his assigned work shift, according to a Summit County Prosecutor’s Office official.

He was sentenced by Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge Lynne S. Callahan to 12 months of non-reporting probation, according to court records.

April Wiesner, director of communications for the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office, said an investigation by special agents for the U.S. Postal Service’s Office of Inspector General determined that Leslein spent an average of two hours per day at home and collected overtime on many of those days

  2. WHAT??? The guy stole from his employer!!! If your going to spend 2 hours a day at home on the clock, then at least clock out in 8 hours. This idiot deserves everything that’s coming to him!!!

  3. I’m willing to bet he wasn’t a Wall Street banker. The full brunt of the law (the rule of law) for the little people and NO rules apply to the “Wizards of the Universe.” Corrupted system beyond redemption.
