Pennsylvania Letter Carrier injured in hit-and-run while delivering mail

BUTLER, Pa. —Butler City police are asking for the public’s help identifying the driver wanted in connection with a hit-and-run accident Saturday morning.

Authorities said a postal worker was hit at the intersection of Spang and Walker avenues while delivering mail just before 10 a.m. Saturday.

“The police report indicated that he was hit and thrown up on the hood. (The driver) had to have known (he hit someone),” Butler police Lt. Dave Delcamo said source: wpxi

From Butler City, PA Police Department: “The vehicle involved is a Vibrant bright blue hatchback car operated by a white male mid twenties to thirties wearing thick black framed glasses. There was a child seat in the rear seat facing forward . The vehicle should have some damage to the hood. Any person with information is asked to call 724-287-7743 or send a private message with information. The actor vehicle is similar to the sample photo below.”

  1. I guess he didn’t make his variance, huh? Looking forward to getting back to his rounds and accepting that 14 day paper suspension , cause we all know in the end……. It’s always the carriers fault!!!
