When I was delivering mail and before leaving the station we would go to the cage that handled the certified and register mail and sign out for them and we had to have a adult to sign for this type of mail and if no one was at home then we left a notice of attempted delivery of this certified or registered mail. My question is how did he not have been discovered earlier with not delivering this type of mail unless he was forging the signatures. If he was forging the certified and registry mail then he should have been charged also with that offense.
This guy did this because the mail never stops….it just keeps coming and coming…there’s never a let up…….then the bar code sorters break…….and let me tell you about zip codes…there meaningless !!…..ha ha ha ha ha ha …..rim shot…..
since the dolts in po mismanagement only go by numbers……this clown was one of their heavy hitters. how come you never hear of United Parcel Company drivers filling up their garage with parcels?
What an idiot. Morons like that make all of us look bad. Good for the USPS and its employees that he is out of the place. Good for the world that he’ll probably spend some time in jail, because this guy must be stupid enough to be dangerous.
The man is sick, he needs help, get probation, it is not a violent offense, we have over 2 million people in jail. No excuse for hoarding mail, he did not try to profit from the mail, just failed to deliver, probation and fine.
You can’t be serious. This guy withheld mail from customers for months, and you want to just give him probation and a fine??
In all these cases of carriers hoarding mail, one has to wonder why the supervisors or postmasters did not ever investigate all the calls that had to come from customers complaining of not receiving their mail?? I know for a fact that our supervisors always dismiss such calls, assuming they are wrong, without giving it any thought. This is not to excuse anyone for stealing mail, but come on, use your head and put one and one together. If I had just two or three on the same route complaining about this, I would at least keep an eye on the carrier, or any employee, craft or management that may be involved.
Investigate the Postmaster & supervisors. Not surprised by this, had 14 yrs. in saw so many PM’s that just put in their time & did’ respond to complaints. So many people are promoted based on race, who you know & how u play the game. Very sad & morale suffers. I put up with their games, like scanning parcels & box mail time up that was a fraud. Staffing is a joke for clerks, never enough at the front where we can make a good impact. By reducing front line clerks has made the Public hate the PO. I could tell you stories you wouldn’t believe. I can’t understand why carriers would risk benefits & retirement, but then I know the demands on them are unreasonable & it comes from number crunchers who don’t have fucking clue.😡
